How wholesale and custom elastic works
Elastix supplies stocked elastic, cord and trims to Australian brands, manufacturers and workrooms by the reel, and develops custom elastic — colour, width, construction and woven or printed branding — with trusted specialist production partners. Family elastic expertise since 1950 sits behind every order.
There are two ways to work with us, depending on whether you need a line we already stock or something made to your specification.
Buying stocked elastic in volume
Every product on this site is sold by the reel and can be ordered online in AUD. For repeat or higher-volume orders on stocked lines, contact us for reel and bulk pricing. Tell us the product, the width and colour, the quantity per line and how often you expect to reorder, and we will set up trade pricing and a simple reorder process so you do not have to re-specify each time.
Developing custom elastic
If you need a specific colour, width, construction or stretch characteristic, or a woven or printed logo, send us a brief. We review every request for feasibility and reply with a formal quote within two business days. From there we produce a physical sample for your approval, then run production and deliver within Australia. Minimum quantities and lead time depend on the construction and are confirmed in your quote.

Wholesale FAQs
What are the minimum order quantities?
Stocked lines have no minimum beyond one reel. For custom work, minimums are set by construction: from 500 m for dye-sublimated printed elastic, and from 5,000 m for woven jacquard and silicone-logo elastic. A custom colour on an existing construction sits between the two.
How long does a custom order take?
You will have a formal quote within two business days of a complete brief. Production lead time is confirmed in the quote and depends on construction, colour matching and sampling. Allow several weeks for the first run of a new design.
What artwork do you need for a woven or printed logo?
Vector artwork (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) is best; high-resolution PNG or JPG can work for print. Include your Pantone references and the repeat you want. We will confirm what is achievable in your chosen construction before quoting.
Do you deliver outside Australia?
We deliver within Australia.
How do I set up a trade account?
Get in touch with your business name, ABN, the lines you buy and your expected volume. We will set up trade pricing and a reorder process.
